Welcome Adventurers,

I say that because you have agreed to take this adventure into the unknown world of the history recorded in the Billy Joel song "We Didn't Start the Fire".

The Song

This song is a list of seemingly unrelated and random topics and names but, in fact, it is a chronological list of important things that effected America and the world from 1949 through the 1980's.

Your job is to pick 10 entries from the list and figure out what they are about. There are some rules that you need to follow.

You'll research these topics and then create presentations on each topic.

There are some rules that you need to follow here too.

These presentations will then be turned in digitally. This is an on-line class.

Your first task is to email from your favorite email address. We will communicate via email. Send the email to renright@hfa-dearborn.org.

I'm a big Google Drove fan so set up a folder in Google Drive and share it with me. As you finish assignments, just put them in the folder and I'll take them out from there.

The 2 links beow will gove you the list of topics and instructions on presenting.

This is our first run of this class so we may hit a couple of bumps in the road but we'll work it out.

Thanks for being a part of the first run.

Good luck and let's have some fun.
